From starting to till now, not all jolted from the movie
Padmavati but few got the loopholes. The assembly election passed, media TRP
went high, movie was also released but an only thing left is ‘shouting Rajput’
and ‘violence’.
Nothing but an image of ‘misogyny’, Rajput community
portrayed by vandalising the public property, attacking at school bus,
threatening even to destroy the Parliament and Supreme court and bounty on
actress.
In such the state, Rajasthan, where it is at the first in
child- marriage (below 15 age), the second in cruelty by husband with wives and
fifth highest rate of crime against women, according to the National Crime
Records.
A spark– when Rajput group Karni Sena smacked Sanjay
Leela Bhansali during shooting of the movie in Rajasthan– became blaze when
politicians jumped into the conclusion before the CBFC or the Supreme court’s
approach.
Politician’s comment on the controversial movie
‘Padmavat’ poisoned Rajput group Karni Sena’s ear to spread its wing of protest
throughout the nation ahead of assembly elections in two
states, Gujrat and Himachal Pradesh. In the tense situation of GDP was 5.4%, unemployment,
the issues– glitch-ridden GST and demonetisation– became non-issue and the
non-issues became the issue (Padmaavati controversy).
Rajput community disagreeing with the movie saying
distorted the velour and pride of Rani Padmaavati by the director Sanjay Leela
Bhansali, needed the most political assurance of consideration on the facts or
reality instead of taking the hasty decision as banning the movie in the
states, before deciding by Historians or experts.
Before the release of film, Veteran actors kept mum
despite on the bounty on adept and ingenious actress Deepika Padukone’s nose,
in the film industry which is considered brave, rational, secular and fearless.
The third day after releasing the movie, Hema Malini, Asha Parekh and Waheeda Rehman and other Bollywood actors cannot
stop raving about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat and say that
this is a film that will be remembered forever.
This would be much appreciated if, to tranquil the heat, the veterans would come forward and save the degnity of Industry, as open threat to the
woman, the star, protagonist Deepika Padukone.
Bollywood or the nation would have been the first one to
join the hand of Rajput groups if it had marched, not violence, for the social
causes of state.
